TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THE VAUXLT

Last updated: 25 October 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the THE VAUXLT website and your purchase of products through our online store.

THE VAUXLT

Legal business name: THE VAUXLT LTD

Business address: 151-161 Kensington High Street

Customer service email: info@thevauxlt.com

Privacy email: info@thevauxlt.com

Website: https://thevauxlt.com

In these terms, “THE VAUXLT”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business identified above. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or placing an order.

By using our website, you agree to comply with these terms. A purchase contract is formed in accordance with the ordering and acceptance process explained below.

Nothing in these terms affects any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under UK law.

2. Eligibility and Website Use

You must provide accurate and complete information when using our website or placing an order.

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its security or functionality, or use it for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our systems, customers or business.

3. Products and Product Descriptions

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizing information, materials and prices are accurate.

Product photographs are provided to illustrate the products. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting and device settings.

Minor variations in texture, finish or appearance may occur between individual garments, particularly where natural leather is used. Any variation must remain consistent with the product description and applicable legal requirements.

We will clearly identify the materials used in individual products. Statements about leather, stretch, construction and place of manufacture will reflect the actual product.

If a product is materially different from its description, faulty or otherwise fails to meet the applicable legal standards, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Limited Releases and Ordering Windows

THE VAUXLT may operate limited online releases during specified opening and closing dates.

Where a collection has a limited ordering window, the relevant dates and times will be displayed on our website or communicated through our official channels.

Orders must be placed before the stated closing time to be considered for that release. Once the ordering window closes, products may no longer be available to order until a future release.

We reserve the right to withdraw a product, correct a genuine listing error or suspend ordering where reasonably necessary. If we cannot fulfil an order that has already been accepted, we will contact you and provide any refund or other remedy required by law.

Closing a release does not remove any rights you may have to cancel an existing order.

5. Preorders and Made-to-Order Production

Some products are sold on a preorder or made-to-order basis. This means that production may begin or be completed after the ordering window has closed.

Before you place your order, we will provide the material information available about the product, the ordering process and the estimated production and delivery timeframe.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that a preorder may take longer to fulfil than an item held in ready-to-ship stock.

We will make reasonable efforts to meet the delivery estimate provided at checkout or on the relevant product or release page. If production or delivery is delayed, we will provide an appropriate update.

An estimated production or delivery date is not an unlimited extension of our obligations. Your rights under applicable consumer law, including rights arising from failure to deliver within the agreed or legally required period, remain unaffected.

Made-to-order does not automatically mean non-cancellable. The statutory cancellation rules depend on the circumstances and the type of product. We will not exclude cancellation rights simply because production begins after an order is placed.

6. Prices and Payment

All prices will be displayed in the currency indicated on the website.

For UK consumer sales, the total price payable, including applicable taxes and mandatory charges, will be clearly displayed before you place your order. Any delivery charges or optional additional costs will be disclosed before checkout is completed.

We reserve the right to change prices before an order is placed. A price change will not retrospectively change the agreed price of an order already accepted, except where a lawful correction or other legal basis applies.

Payment must be completed using the payment methods offered at checkout.

We may use third-party payment providers to process transactions. Your payment may be subject to the provider’s own terms and security checks.

7. Order Placement and Acceptance

Please review your basket, selected sizes, quantities, delivery details and total price before submitting your order.

When you submit an order, you are making a purchase request and acknowledging that the order requires payment.

We will send an order confirmation or acknowledgement to the email address you provide. The confirmation will explain whether your order has been accepted or is awaiting acceptance, in accordance with the checkout process.

If we reject an order before accepting it, we will arrange any necessary refund of payment taken for that order.

We may decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason, such as a product being unavailable, a material pricing or listing error, suspected fraud or an inability to verify essential order information. We will communicate the relevant position and refund any payment due.

Your order confirmation and these terms should be read together.

8. Sizing and Fit

We provide sizing information to help you select the most suitable size.

Please consult the relevant size guide and product-specific measurements before ordering. Sizing and fit may vary between designs and materials.

Where a garment uses non-stretch leather or another structured material, the fit may differ from a stretch garment.

If you are unsure about sizing, please contact our customer service team before purchasing.

Nothing in this section excludes your legal rights if a product is faulty, incorrectly described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.

9. Production and Delivery

Production and delivery estimates will be provided on the relevant product page, release page or at checkout.

Delivery estimates may depend on manufacturing, quality control, fulfilment, courier availability and your delivery location.

We will use reasonable efforts to keep you informed of significant delays. If we cannot deliver within the agreed period, or within the applicable legal deadline where no period has been agreed, you may have rights to require delivery within an appropriate additional period or to terminate the contract and obtain a refund, depending on the circumstances.

We will not treat a courier delay or manufacturing delay as automatically removing our legal responsibilities.

Delivery charges, available destinations and any relevant delivery restrictions will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

You should provide a complete and accurate delivery address. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production or dispatch.

Risk in the goods will pass to you in accordance with applicable law. Where we arrange delivery to you, this will generally be when you, or a person you identify, takes physical possession of the goods, subject to the applicable legal rules.

10. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

We want customers to feel confident ordering from THE VAUXLT. Our returns and cancellation arrangements operate alongside your statutory rights.

Cancelling before dispatch

If you change your mind after placing an order, contact us promptly at [Insert customer service email].

We will consider your cancellation request in accordance with applicable law and the stage of your order. Where cancellation is permitted, we will confirm the cancellation and arrange the refund due.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible. We will explain whether the order can be stopped immediately and, where applicable, process the cancellation.

We cannot promise that every request can be processed as an immediate administrative cancellation, but we will not use the start of production alone to remove statutory cancellation rights that still apply.

The statutory cancellation period

For most goods purchased online by UK consumers, you generally have 14 days from the day after you receive the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel, subject to statutory exceptions.

After notifying us, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Certain goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right. This exception does not automatically apply to standard clothing produced to order or manufactured after a preorder window.

If an exception applies to a particular product, we will identify it clearly before purchase where required by law.

Returning cancelled goods

If you cancel under the statutory distance-selling rules, you must return the goods within the applicable return period.

Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or another rule requires us to cover the cost, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where you were informed of this before purchase.

You may handle the goods as reasonably necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop. We may be entitled to a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary, where the statutory conditions are met.

Please return items with reasonable care, including their original packaging where practical. Original packaging is not a condition of your statutory rights.

Refunds

Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right, we will refund the amounts required by law, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option where applicable.

We will normally issue a statutory cancellation refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or, where permitted by law, receiving evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless another method is agreed without additional cost to you.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described items

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us at [Insert customer service email] with your order number and details of the issue.

You may have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the short-term right to reject faulty goods within the applicable period, repair or replacement rights, and further refund rights where the statutory conditions are met.

Where a return is required because goods are faulty or incorrect, we will meet the return costs required by law.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

How to request a return or cancellation

Email: [Insert customer service email]

Subject: Cancellation or Return — Order [Order Number]

Include your name, order number and the product you wish to cancel or return. We will provide instructions appropriate to your request.

11. Product Care

Care instructions will be provided where appropriate.

Leather, delicate fabrics, embellishments and other specialist materials may require particular care. Please follow any supplied care instructions.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, failure to follow reasonable care instructions or ordinary wear and tear, to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect your rights in respect of a product that was faulty or not as described when supplied.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of the THE VAUXLT website, including branding, logos, product imagery, written content, designs, graphics and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us.

You may view the website and use it for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or use our intellectual property without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Nothing in this section restricts rights that cannot legally be restricted.

13. Website Availability and Accuracy

We aim to keep our website available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will always operate without errors.

We may update, maintain or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or excuses us from fulfilling obligations under an accepted purchase contract.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, we are responsible for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill, in accordance with applicable law.

We are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.

If you purchase as a consumer, nothing in this section is intended to remove protections afforded to you by applicable consumer legislation.

15. Events Outside Our Control

Where an event outside our reasonable control affects our ability to perform an obligation, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.

This may include serious disruption to transport, manufacturing, supply chains, utilities or essential website services.

This section does not remove your rights to a refund, cancellation or another remedy where required by law.

16. Privacy and Cookies

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used and how you can manage your choices.

Please review these policies on our website.

17. Complaints and Contact

If you have a question, concern or complaint about an order, please contact:

THE VAUXLT Customer Service

Customer service email: info@thevauxlt.com

Please include your order number where relevant so that we can investigate efficiently.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, website or legal obligations.

The version applicable to an order will be determined in accordance with the contract and applicable law. Changes to the website terms will not retrospectively remove rights you already have.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in another jurisdiction apply.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory rights under the laws that apply to you.

Nothing in these terms prevents you from bringing a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
